My name is Lucy Brogla, and I’m a State Farm Insurance agent based in Shorewood, Illinois. The greatest part of my job is connecting with people. I love to enlighten people with the knowledge I have regarding insurance and financial services products. When you stop by my office or give us a call, you will find a genuine agent and her team, who value supporting our customers and each other. I’m a second-generation agent and have experienced the joy of watching my mother help families and businesses protect what matters most. Those years instilled that same passion and dedication to the people and communities I serve.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Illinois State University. I also minored in Business Administration. Initially, I worked at State Farm Headquarters and led a team in the systems department. It was a goal of mine to become a State Farm Agent, which I successfully achieved in 2011. During my first year, I became one of State Farm’s Top 100 new agents, and after that, I qualified for Chairman’s Circle for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016.

Outside of work, family is most important to me! I love to spend time with my nieces and nephews, they are the joys of my world! I also like to go on warm vacations to escape the cold Illinois weather and I enjoy boating adventures and basically any water-related activity! When I’m indoors, I like to try artsy and crafty activities and see where my creativity can take me. You may also find me nose down in a good book! I have a big heart for the well-being of children, so I have worked with CASA, which is the Court Appointed Special Advocate. We advocate for the well-being of kids who have been victims of abuse.

I know that with vision, hard work and determination your dreams can become a reality. We all have dreams and in order to accomplish those dreams we can set goals for ourselves. The books in her series teach children to be caring 💛and compassionate while also realizing their own inner strength 💪🏼. She has mastered the art of storytelling and says some of her grandchildren may still believe that she used to raise unicorns 🦄.
